Violation Information
Frequently Asked Questions About Violation Notices.
Q: Why did I get this
notice?
A: You violated
a parking regulation at one of our facilities. Instead of immediately towing for violations our company prefers to issue notices
when a regulation is broken; although a ticket isn’t pleasant either, it is better than having to get a ride to an impound
yard, and a lot less expensive than having to pay over $100.00 to get your vehicle back.
Q: I didn't know that
I was violating a regulation.
A: Just like when you
drive down the street and see a posted speed limit, we post signs to notify the public about our regulations; weather
you need to pay in advance, or the space is reserved for someone with a state issued handicapped parking permit, we go to
great lengths to ensure that everyone is made fully aware of regulations.
Q: I did not see a sign.
A: Although you may
not have seen a sign, you may have been in a rush, or just over looked it, we
do our best to make sure that everything is clearly posted, so that there no misunderstanding. Please revisit the location
where you parked, and look again, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Q: There wasn't anyone
there to collect my money.
A: Although we would
prefer to have a guard on duty at all of our locations 24/7 unfortunately that's just not practical to do. At times when there
isn't enough traffic to warrant having someone on duty at each location, we have them to patrol several locations so that
no property is totally unattended. Although there is no one there at the particular moment you arrive, you are still able,
and required to pay in advance, through our convenient self-payment system. For further information on our self payment
please see the payment information posted at each location.
Q: I thought it was
free.
A: unfortunately, no,
as it is clearly posted at all of our public parking facilities, "NO FREE PARKING ANYTIME." You must pay in advance.
Q: Can I pay the Fee
and get out of this taken care of?
A: Unfortunately no
one individual has the authority to waive, void, or “take care” of a violation notice. There is an appeals process
if you feel as though you unjustly received the notice. To contest a violation write a written statement as to why you believe
that your violation should be dismissed, along with your contact information and a copy of the violation to the address on
the notice. Your appeal will go before an appeal committee, who will decide the outcome of your appeal. You will be notified
when a decision regarding your appeal has been made.
Q: What happens if I
don’t pay it?
A: Failure to answer a Notice will result in Civil and
possibly Criminal Sanctions (Penalties). After 14 days there is a $50.00 surcharge added. 30 days following it is
subject to being sent to collections; where it will come to the registered owner of the vehicle, which may
reflect negatively on their credit report, and also result in a lien being placed against the vehicle until resolved.
